Chris Carroll - Managing Director
Carroll’s is built on solid family values. Managing Director Chris Carroll’s parents, Tony and Vera, founded the business over 50 years ago with one truck and pinboard. “Dad would come home with pockets full of dockets, and my mum would take over. All the dockets used to get pinned up on the back of the couch, and then the couch would get pushed back against the wall; that’s how the admin department worked”, he says.
Today Carroll's has grown to be a significant and established 3PL company and works with many leading local and international brands.
Chris lives and breathes Carroll's brand values championing a commitment to customers, respect for people, integrity, teamwork, quality, efficiency, personal accountability, and solution-focused.

Chris, the forklift and many team members are not the only things that have been around the business for decades. Carroll’s has customers dating back to the early 1970s, which is a testament to the level of service and competitive pricing they offer.
Throughout the years, Carroll’s has consistently invested in people, new warehousing, modern fleets and technology. “Our large investment in IT has enabled us to compete and provide a better service than the corporates, which is a big driver for us.” Our focus on efficiency and innovation has touched every business element and is visible in both Carroll’s modern logistics centres.
This includes semi-automated, very narrow aisle ‘man up’ forklifts, GPS transponders embedded in the warehouse floor, as well as energy-efficient sensor lighting. Carroll’s integrates this with significant IT capability, offering complete EDI, RF scanning, scan pack, and a unique freight calculator for customers.
